By OFFICER Craig Bare
January 8, 2016

REMINDER: As the weather seems to have turned colder the Taneytown Volunteer Fire Company wants to remind you in the event of a snow storm to dig out those hydrants in front of, or near your property. As the snow is pushed back off the streets and the sidewalks are cleared, we remind everyone that there is one more important item to dig out. In the event of a fire, we need to be able to locate, and hook up to the nearest available hydrant. If we have to search and then dig out those hydrants it will add valuable minutes to the job of extinguishing a fire. So remember, PLEASE take a few extra minutes and dig out those fire hydrants closest to you and your neighbors property. Thank you!
